Gears of War 3 Xbox 360 case launched

Although we can’t fault the Xbox 360 when it comes to gaming, it’s hardly the most exciting gadget in the world to look at. With this in mind, Calibur11 and Epic Games have released the Gears of War 3 Vault, providing a stunning new design for your Xbox.

The Gears of War 3 case is timed to coincide with the launch of the game, and the casing features sinister blood red styling and a Crimson Omen on the side. The eyes, mouth and area around the skull also light up red when you down an opponent, helping to make it look even more sinister.
On the other side of the case, Calibur11 has fitted a cradle for your Xbox’s controller, making it a practical as well as distinctive solution. Whether we’d want one under our TV is another thing, but it would definitely look more interesting than a stock 360.

The manufacturer points out: “We are huge fans of the ‘Gears of War’ franchise and really wanted to raise the bar with our exclusive Gears of War 3 Vault. We believe we have succeeded in doing so with the addition of the different colour modes and the Infected Omen which reacts every time you get downed or are revived in the game.”

Prices for the Gears of War 3 Vault start at £75, with the ability to add a customised nameplate for an extra £18.
