L.A. Noire coming to a PC near you!

Out of all the games we’ve had the pleasure of playing this year, L.A. Noire is definitely one of the best. The 1940s detective romp is one of the most addictive titles we’ve set eyes on, but up until now it’s only been available for consoles. Computer fans rejoice, however, as L.A. Noire is also set to be released for regular PC gaming rigs.

Unlike lots of shooters, L.A. Noire is strongly narrative orientated, and the additional storyline and scenes lend this game perfectly to the PC gaming platform.

The extra functionality offered by your PC’s keyboard will take full advantage of L.A. Noire, with keyboard remapping built into the game to optimise gameplay and comfort.

Developer Rockstar has also tweaked the PC version’s graphics, with the company pointing out “along with increased fidelity and improved graphical enhancements, the PC version will feature 3D support for an even greater sense of interaction”.

Sounds good to us, although what spec PC you’ll have to be running to get the most out of the games graphics remains to be seen. Rockstar does point out that “it will run on a wide range of PCs”, however.

You’ll have to wait a couple of months for the release of L.A. Noire though, with the title set to launch on the PC in autumn.
