Razor thin new iMac on sale on Friday!
Starting on 30 November – or Wii U launch day in the gadget fiend’s diary – you can pick up one of the new 21.5-inch iMacs that measures just 5mm thin at the edges. The larger will go on sale at Apple’s online store then also, with delivery in December.
Along with a waifish new look, the new iMac models pack some serious kit under the bonnet. There’s up to 8GB of memory, as well as your choice of the latest Intel Core i5 or i7 super speed processor. Then there’s Apple’s smart Fusion Drive, which keeps important files on a fast 128GB solid state drive, and everything else on the slower (but much larger) 1TB hard drive.
The 21.5-inch new iMac starts at £1,099, while the 27-inch model kicks off at £1,499. We’ll have a full review for you soon, but in the meantime, let us know in the comments below: is this the new machine for you?
