Gameloft reveals 3D titles for the LG Optimus 3D

Although it was the first smartphone to feature a 3D screen, the LG Optimus 3D has been a long time coming, with several delays to the launch. The Optimus 3D is now available in the shops, however, with a couple of 3D titles already available.

The LG Optimus 3D could have the most impressive smartphone screen in the world, but it would be wasted without any 3D movies or games to take advantage of it.  Thankfully, Gameloft is on hand to offer gaming relief for LG’s 4.3-inch 3D smartphone, with several new titles available. That said, don’t be expecting iPhone or regular Android levels of 3D apps and games.

For starters, Gameloft has launched NOVA Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance, Let’s Golf 2 and Asphalt 6, and all will come pre-installed on the LG Optimus 3D. There’s still a long way to go before LG can match 2D apps on Android or other platforms though, so fingers crossed that other developers are working with the Optimus 3D as well.
